Unfortunately this option has been cancelled
Sadly boiler problems have forced the Waverley out of service for emergency repairs, which make the paddle steamer unavailable for at least 3 months.
Yes East Ayrshire (with the generous assistance of the Scottish Independence Foundation for the deposit) have booked the one-and-only Paddle Steamer Waverley to transport Yessers to the AUOB march and rally in Campbeltown on 27th July. The round trip from Largs costs £37 – a saving on the normal day excursion price, and a chance to enjoy the scenery of the Firth of Clyde.
The bookings are being handled by The Waverley, and are already open (this link takes you straight to the booking page).
Safety information and general terms of carriage are available on the Waverley website. We’ve also attached a summary of terms and conditions which apply specifically to this cruise.
Spaces are limited, however, so please book early – and pass the message on within your Yes groups and beyond.
We look forward to seeing you there – showing support for AUOB and the Campbeltown Yes community, who are delighted that we are coming.

Hi Robert – unfortunately the Waverley has experienced serious boiler trouble, causing the cancellation of this trip as the steamer will be out of action for at least 3 months.
